Lucy’s Story About Goslings

On May 3rd 2023 at Bancroft Pond when Dottie, Papa and I started walking. The geese were eating dandelions! What if I fed the geese dandelions? I thought. Then Papa and I went to the left. When we were about to finish the whole circle, I looked through the trees and there were baby geese! I ran past the car to the opening where the baby geese were. They were eating flies off the water! We took a few pictures and went to tell Dottie. She did not want to take a picture but I said “please, please! They are so cute and fluffy and helpful because they eat bugs off the water. Isn’t that amazing?” We walked back to the car and everybody was happy.
