The Montana Osprey Project

Last week I interviewed Erick Greene, a professor of Biological Sciences at the University of Montana. He is the resident ecologist for the Montana Osprey Project and my friend.  I had never interviewed someone before, so I was excited! I hope you listen to the interview and learn lots of new facts about ospreys and the Montana Osprey Project.  If you are interested in supporting the Montana Osprey Project by buying a special shirt designed by Claire Emery, you can email Erick at erick.greene@umontana.edu.

  1. Dottie, you don’t know me, but I am your Granny’s friend. She sent me your interview and I am so so proud of you! You did such a great job asking questions so all of us could learn more about ospreys. Now I will be on the lookout for their nests! Keep up the good work. I hope to meet you some day.

  2. Dorothy – this is really awesome. I loved watching a few minutes of your interview and I’m glad I’m subscribed to your blog! I’m always excited when Bird Nerds pops up in my email.

We had a bald eagle hunting our little creek here at the farm a couple of weeks ago and that was really exciting for me…because when I was a kid there were very few eagles anywhere.
